Q. What inspired you to contribute to the Stories of the Goddess book, and how did you choose the topic or theme for your chapter?
A. I was invited by a fellow author who also happens to be a goddess, and the moment she spoke of the project, I knew deep down that it was meant for me. Without any hesitation, I eagerly accepted the invitation, not bothering to ask any questions. I felt an instant connection to the project as if it was tailor-made for my voice and my story. It was a story that I had kept as my personal secret, but at that moment, I knew it was time to share it with the world.
Q. Can you share a little bit about the process for your chapter in Stories of the Goddess book?
A. The framework for my story unfolded rapidly as she pitched the project to me. As she spoke, my mind’s backup reel was already writing the outline. I have no recollection of what precisely she said to persuade me, but without hesitation, I blurted out, that I knew what I wanted to write about. This mental outline served as the foundation of my writing process, which began with an intensive research phase.
As I researched the Hindu goddess, Saraswati, I started to recall my personal journey, and how it loosely paralleled her birth and life’s purpose. Our stories shared intriguing similarities – I grew up amidst trees, near a creek fed by an artesian well, and was self-taught in the practice of yoga through a Bhagavad Gita practicum guide. I also had a fondness for music and raised geese, though I never learned to play the Veena.
From there, I worked with Radhaa and received an activation, which was a transformative experience. Afterward, I spent an afternoon writing and then revisited the chapter a week or so later to create a final draft. The words flowed effortlessly after the activation, and I felt an overwhelming sense of creative inspiration.
Q. Can you share your thoughts on the role of the divine feminine in creating a better world?
A. Certainly! The divine feminine represents a powerful energy and an essential aspect of the human experience. It encompasses qualities such as intuition, nurturing, compassion, creativity, and connection to nature. These qualities are crucial for creating a better world, one that is balanced, harmonious, and sustainable.
The current state of the world is fraught with challenges such as inequality, environmental degradation, social unrest, and political strife. These problems are, in part, the result of a patriarchal culture that values competition, domination, and control over cooperation, collaboration, and harmony.
The divine feminine offers an alternative way of being and interacting with the world. It emphasizes empathy, cooperation, and interconnectedness, which are essential qualities for building a better world. When we tap into the divine feminine, we can create a society that values equity, diversity, and inclusivity. It inspires us to honor and respect all forms of life, including the environment, animals, and other human beings.

A. My superpower of calm resilience is an incredibly valuable trait in both writing and spiritual practice. Writing, helps me stay focused and composed even when facing challenges such as writer’s block or negative feedback. My ability to remain centered and composed can help me push through these obstacles and stay committed to the creative process. In spiritual practice, my calm resilience can help me maintain a sense of inner peace and stability even in the face of adversity or difficult circumstances. This allows me to stay connected to my higher self and maintain a sense of clarity and purpose. Overall, this helps me navigate the ups and downs of life with grace and equanimity.
Q. How do you hope to inspire and empower others through your work?
A. Through my writing and spiritual practice, I hope to model true strength and power from within by embodying qualities such as resilience, courage, and self-awareness. Q. Can you share any upcoming projects or initiatives you are working on or excited about?
A. I’m currently working on some training videos for rescue dogs, who’ve suffered trauma. One of my true loves. As well, as a communications tool for the divine feminine…that’s all I can say for now.
